What symbols represent what you hold to be sacred?  In this unique class we will look at inspiring altar art from a variety of cultures and create our own piece using cut paper images on a 5" x 7" wooden arched board.  All materials will be provided.  We will provide a variety of images including Gods and Goddesses from different traditions but feel free to bring images to incorporate.  All religious beliefs welcome.

Instructor: This class is taught by the artist Addie Hirschten who is a contemporary impressionist painter, host of the Studio Alchemy Podcast and author of several books including the Alchemy of Symbols. Hirschten has been a professional artist and painting instructor for over 13 years and has earned BFA and MLS degrees. Hirschten specializes in creating well rounded classes where students learn new skills in a fun-loving supportive environment. Students get to know each other well as we gather in community together.
